Hi guys

A custom modification I made to my Keylab 88 controller to add a NUC PC running Forte

Works great!

That's awesome, Ben!

Are you getting decent latency and amounts of plugins running at the same time?
Lenovo Z500, quad core i7 3632QM, 16GB 1600MHz DDR3, RME BabyFace, Samsung EVO SSD x2, forte 4, Kawai ES100, Kurzweil PC2, VB3, Alchemy, Kontakt 5, Omnisphere 2, Diva, ZebraHZ, Bazille, Pianoteq 5 Standard, Falcon, various effects

It's only a i3 but is so much faster than my old laptop I was using (which I wasnt expecting).
It's actually a little too fast.

Most of my plugins are pretty light weight and I optimize my Forte rack quite a lot.

That's REALLY awesome! I just bought a Keylab88 in anticipation of moving from my OpenLabs Neko to something else soon, since it's getting long in the tooth. I need i7 power with 16GB RAM and a 1TB HD for my rig. I have been looking at high end 2-in-one laptops, thinking I would just put the laptop on top of the controller (I like a compact setup!!). So it's cool to see your rig. I wasn't really familiar with NUC's, I'll take a look at those. Thanks for sharing!
