Lexicon MX200 External Effects Processor

Hi all

I have a Lexicon MX200 external effects processor that, via USB, has a VST plugin that allows parameter changes to the hardware unit. This is great for setting reverbs and delays for vocals during a gig depending on the song.

I can set all the parameters, including the tempo for delay times and save this as a scene. BUT.....

I would dearly love to be able to midi-sync the tempo so that I can use the tap tempo on Sceneview to alter the delay times on the fly during a gig (if the drummer is running away a bit with the tempo!!).

According to the Lexicon Manual (- page 35 onwards), this is possible by using an additional midi to USB cable - this will allow VST parameter support and time syncing (it specifically mentions DAWs). However, for the life of me I cannot get Forte to send this tempo info or to sync to the unit for this purpose.

I downloaded the trial version of Echo to see if this would help, but to be honest, my ability to implement MIDI is virtually non-existent!

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate this.

Thanks

Tony
