Increase Usable Memory?
Is it possible to increase Forte 2's usable memory? I have a i7-950 with 12 GB of Ram. Memory Information says I have only 3071MB of usable memory.

Re: Increase Usable Memory?
Hi,
I prosume you are using a 64Bit OS (otherwise you would not be able to allocate your 12GBytes of RAM independently from the software you use)? Then you have 2 possibilities to my mind:
1) Wait for forte 3 to be released (the beta is already available on the beta site). Then you should not have any restrictions when using the x64 version.
2) use jBridge to "isolate" plugins that are RAM hungry like samplers / romplers (jBridge is then used in the 32Bit - 32Bit mode which is untypical for jBridge). In this case each plugin is running in a separate host that is able to allocate RAM by its own. You will not see, that forte has more RAM available but are able to have 2 or more instances allocating RAM and so use your 12GBytes of RAM.
