Anyone here versed in CSS for SceneView?

Post here if you are having a problem with or a question about forte that is not about a plugin or audio/MIDI hardware.

Anyone here versed in CSS for SceneView?

Postby evilantal » Tue Dec 16, 2014 2:53 am

I'm wanting to make some adjustments to SceneView. At my resolution, when the mixer is displayed (not hidden), the song title gets cut off and is only half displayed.

Anyone here have some knowledge of CSS to help me make adjustments? Or has anyone already made a custom SceneView?

So here is what I have. To change the font size and color in the list on the left hand side:
QListWidget QLabel#sceneName {
font: 14pt "Segoe Condensed";
color: rgb(255,255,255);
}

The width of the scroll-able list should adjust with the font size. The smaller the font the more narrow the the list. There is also a style attribute called padding that dictates the amount of white space between the text and the border of the the list control. I set my padding to 1px to minimize the width even more. All this works great in Forte 3 but I have noticed that the width of the list does not change in Forte 4. It seems to stay constant regardless of the font size or padding. Not sure why.

/* This is the style for the left-side scene list */
QListWidget {
border-color: rgb(125, 125, 125);
border-style: solid;
padding: 1px;
padding-left: 1px;
padding-right: 1px;
}
