midi note repeat

Postby mburnett » Sun Jun 13, 2010 9:20 pm

I'd like to be able to hold a note on one of my keyboard controllers and have the note go on and off at a programmed rate, just like I was pressing and releasing the key. I have a particular song that we play live that starts out this way and I need three hands to play it and have to get the note on/off at the right tempo every time since I start the song. Anybody have any suggestions other than running Sonar or some other sequencer outside of Forte?

Thanks,
Marv

Hi

an arpegiator? Or running energyXT as a VST plugin?

Dirk
Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

This guy created a few free vsts. One of them is a sequencers that can do note repeat. You can have this sequencer output to another VST within Forte using the VMI option.
