Reaktor 5

Postby bsamuels » Sat Jan 28, 2012 12:50 pm

I created a Reaktor 5 ensemble that processes midi notes and outputs this midi data (no audio) If I insert the plugin (tried both FX and instrument version) I get no output. If, however, I create an additional module and route via VMI, the Reaktor ensemble operates as expected. This is not a problem as a workaround but wondered why the insert doesn't perform as expected? Using Forte 2.2 build 25. Native Instrument Reaktor 5 v. 5.6.2

Hi,

You must enable VMI to be able to dispatch processed midi data from a plugin. I don't understand the problem: when you use the plugin in an insert, and enable it's VMI, that doesn't work?

Dirk
Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

That's exactly right. I enable VMI, route the midi in to the insert, then the insert to the module. Nothing but if I put the created midi processor in as a module and do the same VMI routing, everything works as expected.
