I would think that the response to volume CC is a function of each individual instrument plug-in, not forte. Volume is normally controlled by CC7. Seems like sending CC7 to a plug-in would make the volume increase or decrease, provided that plug is programmed to respond to midi CC7. If you want to r...

One suggestion would be to not only START forte with Admin privileges, but make sure you've INSTALLED forte AND THE DRIVERS as Administrator. That is, when you install the program or the drivers, RIGHT click the installation package and "install as Administrator." Not sure this will help, ...
