Yes, running as Admin. It's not a continuous error... it just popped up a couple of times while I was changing scenes. Changing scenes too quickly seems to be a problem for me right now. The band is off for a month coming up, so I'll try to drill down then and see if I can find any more clues.

This makes a lot of sense. I remember an old electronic metronome that had LEDs that were in an arc, and the LED's chased back and forth... same effect.

Mike,

Like the idea of putting something in, not sure about the decay idea. That seems like it might make it harder to establish the beat. I would think (just guessing here though) that a blink (on/off) to the tempo would be better than bars with decay. But not sure.

Hi Kenny, I believe following the forte instructions is enough. The jbridge instructions are for hosts that do not support jbridge directly. forte does support jbridge, so enabling that way will work. I believe indeed you do need to add the [VST] section to the ini file yourself, if memory serves. -M

Hi Kenny, The one thing I noticed is that your rack file is pretty big... as high as 1465MB out of 2250MB available. My guess (and it's only a guess) is you might be running into a memory problem, even though it appears based on the numbers you might have headroom. I recommend you take a look at jbr...

For live use you might want to try TruePianos or Pianoteq. Both are very good, and very small memory footprint. Pianoteq is completely, 100% modeled... no samples. TruePianos is a hybrid that combines small samples and modeling. I own both, and currently favor TruePianos in my live setup. Mike

I have the same problem. Regardless of the settings in forte, when I change scenes, I get dropout and am unable to hold notes across the scene. I know that brainspawn is working on improvements in this area for thier next release, probably a ways off still...
