Re: Hevy CPU Usage after muting/unmuting Kontakt

Well guys, i found a solution for the problem... There are three different Kontakt vst dlls: 1) Kontakt 5.dll 2) Kontakt 5 (8 out).dll 3) Kontakt 5 (16 out).dll using nr. 1 was causing my probelms. Setting this one to ingnore-list and using nr. 2 (or nr. 3) is solving high cpu spikes after muting/un...

Hevy CPU Usage after muting/unmuting Kontakt

Hi there, i noticed a heavy cpu-usage after muting/unmunting Kontakt 5.4.2. At first this was not much of a problem, as i just used one ord two kontakt plugins. But i expanded my rack an now muting my five Kontakt plugins lead to a heavy cpu-usage after a scene change. Sound is heavily distorted for...

Re: Forte stops processing audio on scene change

Hi there, i experienced a similar problem. After a scene change audio processing suddenly stoped. to be precise: After a scene change my Plugins (kontakt/vb3/mini v...) worked just fine and produced an audio signal, but this signal didnt't make it anymore to the bus (and audio output). I couldn't re...

feature request: Supporting vst-automation and midi-feedback

Hey Guys, some time ago i promised to post a feature request for forte implementing support for automation of vst parameters. The idea is not really new and actually copied from ableton live. In Live you can map the automation parameters of a vst-plugin to your external controller. The result is a c...

have you tried forte's control surface editor? it seems to me that's exactly what you are looking for (linking fortes volume-parameter and external midi controller) ...

Re: Tablet and dawosc for forte surface control

VNC is a good idea. I am using using teamviewer for the same purpose as it feels a little more mature. It duplicates your screen to your tablet in short latency and close to zero cpu usage. As promised above, here is a small update as my Nexus 10 arrived this week and i made up a quick control-inter...

@Burtan: i saw your post in a german forum (can't remember) and in the official DAWOsc forum (http://dawosc.forumotion.com/t39-rme-totalmixfx) :). You are right, native OSC support by forte would be nice, but midi should also work well. What Problems do you mean? I have tried out every control-surfa...

Re: Tablet and dawosc for forte surface control

hi guys, yes, the pictures on the right side lead to different DAWOsc Layouts (for Kontakt, VB3, Minimoog). DAWOsc lets you choose your own pictures for Buttons, Faders, Backgrounds, etc. concerning your ambition of beeing able to sync scene-names to your TouchOSC interface -> that would definitlely...

Tablet and dawosc for forte surface control

Inspired by a tablet control-surface for RME TotalMixFX by Burtan i checked out a midi-controller-app called dawosc. I quickly set up a control-surface definition to use this app for forte. Guess what: it's working like a charme! All you need is an android tablet/smartphone, the app for your android...

Any experiece with tablet-midi-controller an midi feedback?

Hi there, i am thinking about adding a tablet as a midi-controller to my setup. Sure, a tablet is not on par with a "real" hardware midi controller when it comes to handling your vst. A good button, knob or fader feels just more intuitive. But a tablet looks like a good trade-off between f...
